Heat pump install in Walpole Highway, near Wisbech

The Installio team has just fitted a heat pump in a 3 bed house, in Walpole Highway, near Wisbech in Norfolk.

The customer wanted to get rid of their oil boiler and move to a modern heating system. A heat pump means a low carbon home that is cheaper to heat.

The job included a new heat air source heat pump, a replacement hot water cylinder, modern heating controls and upgrading 5 undersized radiators.

Technical specification

The team retrofitted the heat pump to the home’s existing heating system. That means installing new components to the existing pipework and keeping the radiators where possible. Upgraded radiators are added to make sure the heat pump runs really efficiently, while guaranteeing the home will still be warm in the depths of winter.
